Telegram has launched its Premium Subscription Plan at $5 per month. Telegram Premium includes lots of new features, the most noticeable of which are higher maximum file size upload, faster downloads, no advertisement in public channels, and more.
The Telegram app, founded by Russian entrepreneur Pavel Durov, is one of the most popular messaging app in the world, as well as the Top 5 downloaded app in the world in 2022, with 700 million active users.
What differentiates Telegram from other messaging apps is its focus on Privacy, Encryption, and an Open-Source API. Another privacy feature of Telegram which I like is you don’t need to give out your phone number. You can create a Telegram username to share with people and keep your phone number private.
Telegram chats also sync between devices thanks to the cloud, enabling simultaneous access to your conversations on Smartphones, Tablets, Laptops, and Desktops.

Let’s go through the new Telegram features that come with the Premium Subscription Plan in further detail.
