On August 10, 2022, Samsung officially announced its fourth generation of flip phones. The design of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 is pretty similar compared to the previous model. However, the phone does have some significant upgrades.
The phone was revealed during the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event in August 2022, along with the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, and Galaxy Buds 2 Pro.
Samsung is the only manufacturer of flip phones that can produce them to Flagship standards. They dominate the Flip phone market because there is no one to compete with or compare this phone to.
What’s new in Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4?

The new Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 model has a larger battery that can run for longer periods of time. Samsung claims that the Galaxy Z Flip 4 can charge up to 50% in 30 minutes with a 25W charger.
The Z Flip 4 is available in nine different colors, and it looks better than last year’s model. The phone is available in the following colors: Bora Purple, Graphite, Pink Gold, Blue, Yellow, White, Navy, Khaki, and Red.

The Flip 4 comes with Samsung’s One UI 4.1.1 on top of Android 12. The display on the Z Flip is also more durable than it was the previous year.
The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip in the Z Flip 4 contains an Octa-core CPU and an Adreno 730 GPU. Despite rising chip costs, the Galaxy Z Flip 4 is still available for $999, the same price as the previous model.
Camera resolutions remain same from last year. However, there are small changes in aperture size and focal length.
